WEIR Minerals released a beaut video showing the results of a recently completed “massive upgrade” at the company’s Artarmon foundry.
WEIR Minerals specialises in servicing the mining sector of Australia. The upgrade enables the automation of moulds up to almost four meters across. For scale, the mould used in the video is around three meters across.
The new system is said to have superior product capacity and quality output, in the safest possible way. It’s a shining example of the leading-edge work done in the Artarmon Foundry and investment in Australian manufacturing.
