Composites Australia, in partnership with Summertime Pools, invites members and guests to an industrial site tour of a high-volume fibreglass swimming pool manufacturing facility in Dandenong South, Victoria. This TECH Event provides a first-hand view of composite manufacturing at scale, with a focus on continuous improvement, automation, workflow optimisation, and engineering-led product design.

Rob Kruber, Managing Director, Summertime Pools, will provide an overview of the company’s manufacturing strategy, including investment in automation and lean manufacturing systems to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.

The presentation will also cover strategic product expansion, including the Halo Spas range, which integrates hydrotherapy-focused design with proprietary HeatLock™ insulation, engineered steel frames, and reinforced structural zones to manage loads and support long-term performance.

The facility tour will provide insight into how Summertime Pools has scaled production through:

    • Continuous improvement and process optimisation
    • Automation to improve consistency and throughput
    • Predictive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime
    • Engineering-led design for durability, structural performance and manufacturability

Refreshments and networking will follow the tour.
