Marky Industries visit and networking – March 2016

More than 50 composite professionals, some travelling from as far afield as Tasmania, attended the site tour of the Marky Industries plant in Creastmead, Queensland on Wednesday 16 March.

Co-directors Martin Nicholas and his wife Krystyna, generously shared their company’s story and conducted small group-tours of the extensive plant. Marky Industries has built a reputation for exceptional product quality, evidenced by the company’s Q1 status with the Ford Motor Company and AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 certification for products and services.  They take pride in the company’s manufacturing expertise, the well ventilated, dust-free environment of the plant and  their quality assurance processes.

Marky Industries has

  • 37 years designing, developing and manufacturing composite components for clients in the truck industry including Mack, Volvo, Iveco, Ford, Western Star and Navistar branded trucks
  • 10 years building in excess of 4000 parts for trains in the Perth Urban Rail System – complying with fire retardant, high impact specifications
  • Supplying Queensland Rail projects with safety compliant components  including cosmetic internal panels, driver dashboards and whole cabfronts
  • Winning the 2015 Truck of the Show at the Brisbane Truck Show with the Navistar ProStar truck featuring
  • 21 years as a major supplier of composite parts for mobile, elevated working platforms, including developing solutions that meet the strict safety requirements of the electrical industry.
