Novafast International receives grant to increase Sovereign Industrial Capability in pipe systems

South Australian composite pipe manufacture, NOVAFAST was recently awarded close to $1.4million under the Sovereign Industrial Capability Priority Grants program.

South Australian composite pipe manufacture, NOVAFAST was recently awarded close to $1.4million under the Sovereign Industrial Capability Priority Grants program. The grant is to support the acquisition and installation of new robotics equipment for an epoxy pipe production line to supply naval ship building programs.

Over the past 18 months, Novafast developed its own proprietary epoxy raw material system specifically for the program. “The heavy industrial and energy industries have also adopted composite pipe into applications where metals corrode or where lightweight is required,” said David Figallo, Group Business Manager for the Group.

Novafast Holdings group also includes Dennis Southam & Associates (DSA), a globally recognised engineering firm specialising in corrosion management; and Basetec Services which provides project management and construction and installation services specialising in GRE/GRVE/GRP pipes and fittings, tanks and processing equipment.
