1) MEM31119 Certificate III in Engineering – Composites Trade which is the recognised qualification to become a qualified Engineering Composite Tradesperson.
This groundbreaking area of engineering is for those who are ready to work at the cutting edge. Composite materials are starting to replace traditional materials. As different industries start to use these materials, the need for apprentices increases. The course teaches skills in composite materials, assembly, and production techniques. You'll learn how to select the appropriate processes or systems for a product, and will gain experience with a range of power tools and machinery. This course is delivered as an apprenticeship and will prepare participants to pursue a career as a Composites Tradesperson within the metal, engineering, manufacturing and associated industries.
2) MEM30719 Certificate III in Marine Craft Construction
Whether you have sailing in your blood or have recently found a passion for shipbuilding, marine craft construction is a great career for anyone who loves building things with their hands. Learn to fix and build components and assemble boats. Trainers support apprentices both in class and in the workplace and provide them with the technical know-how to shine in this specialist field. This course is delivered as an apprenticeship and prepares for work in the marine craft construction and boat building industries.
