This presentation will provide the Australian composites industry with the findings of a recent scoping mission and Austrade research into opportunities to enter the Indonesian and Malaysian markets.
It is the first phase of the project that seeks to help the Australian composites sector to enter the Malaysian and Indonesian markets by
- profiling Australia’s advanced composites manufacturing technologies, including advanced materials
- matching Australian composite expertise with identified opportunities
- establishing and strengthening relationships with key decision-makers and leaders in the target markets.
In this first phase of the project, opportunities in Malaysia and Indonesia were explored in the Aerospace, Automotive, Ground Transportation, Infrastructure and Oil & Gas market sectors. Additional opportunities are also being explored in the Marine sector.
The format will be a 30 minute webinar presentation followed by questions (submitted online by participants). Registration is required using the form below by clicking on the attachement.
Content is based on a Scoping Mission to Malaysia and Indonesia, reports on companies and organisations met in the Scoping Mission, plus general findings about potential opportunities. Composites Australia will be seeking expressions of interest from export-ready companies to join a Trade Mission to Malaysia and Indonesia in the first half of 2015, enabling Australian companies to leverage the existing connections and groundwork of Composites Australia, CRC-ACS, ACS Australia and Austrade.
