Practical training in closed moulding in this one-day hands-on workshop:

• Master the process of vacuum infusion
• Try your hand at core and single skin infusion
• Learn about Resin Transfer Moulding (light) – RTM Light
• Familiarise yourself with the special materials used in closed moulding
• Benefit from hands-on practical experience, step-by-step workshop notes and supporting theory

Closed moulding provides your company the potential to improve quality of production and productivity, compared to open moulding and similar processes.

Through lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on learning, participants in this one-day workshop will learn the basics and details of all three closed mould processes, the steps to building your own tooling, and how to improve your already functioning closed mould facility. You will also gain an understanding of the economics of closed mould conversion.

Each class size is limited to 20. Students will have the opportunity to work in pairs on a variety of moulds. You will be taught how to conduct closed moulding - and will then practice it yourself.
